Celsius is MUCH more intuitive. 0 is freezing, 100 is boiling. Fahrenheit just makes more sense because you were raised on it.

The one thing I like about Farenheit is that it's a bigger scale. Sure Celsius is great for scientific purposes, because of the freezing and boiling points, but not so much for a thermostat. 1 degrees change in Celsius is greater than Farenheit, so you can change it a few degrees without it being such a drastic change.
