ah yes, the Harrowing of Hell

funny that, "Hell" as we know it is hardly mentioned on the Bible (much like Satan, really) and instead refers to Sheol, which is roughly equivalent to Hades or Purgatory. It literally means "the grave" and is where people go when they die and await judgment. THEN they either go to Heaven/Hell.

Indeed there is a difference between the lake of fire (what the Bible often refers to as second death and what we imagine when we think "Hell") and when it talks about Hades, a word that does appear in many verses.

Which is why I took care to avoid using the term Hell.
