Well, you do get access to most DLC (just not Summerset, not sure about Morrowind now) with a monthly sub. But the other thing is that there's a million and one types of crafting materials that eat up your bank space so either you focus on one crafting discipline the whole time or you can get an infinite-sized bag for all the mats... that feels like an F2P gimmick to me.
