The concept of karma is just an idealistic idea to keep the good guys hope life will give everyone their just desserts. The sad truth that no one wants to acknowledge is that most people who do bad things do bad things because of bad things in their lives and it causes an endless cycle of bad karma that you can't staunch. Under no circumstances should bad things happening to you cause you not to care for others.
