God help me, I listened to the last video in its entirety. I only skimmed a few parts.
First of all, its amazing that Dustin turned the entire public DEFENDERS office against himself. LoL. How do you even manage that? It sounds like the public defenders want him locked up more than the DA!
So heres the most basic summary of the video... Dawkins is bitching because he just cant accept that this thing is going to trial. Like 90% of the video is just him personally trying to come to terms with the fact that this thing isnt getting dismissed. Hes basically just calling his public defenders boss because he feels like hes owed a dismissal. The head public defender even lays a smack down with the state of North Carolina isnt in the habit of dismissing people charged with child pornography. That shit should be audio clipped and played at the start of every Dawkins thread. I was like, Damn! The whole video is just the public defender trying to drill into Dustins head that he is going to trial and he has to be there.
No new information about his case is revealed. What is funny is that somehow he pissed off the entire public defenders office and they even complain about him recording their conversations! Its not explained in the video, but apparently Dustin did something that really irked their office. They seem a little pissed off that he signed something. My guess is that they were working on a defense and then he decided to take the case into his own hands and push them into a trial with a not guilty plea. Then he must have sent out a few threatening letters to various people claiming the public defenders office wasnt doing their job, told people he had their phone conversations recorded, and threatened them with disbarment. And um... the public defenders office was not amused.
Oh... and apparently Dustin makes $735 a month.
With how stressful the job of a DA is i can't imagine how much of a headache he is for them. He's taking their team away from other defendants with his bullshit and on top of that he torpedo's all of their work by trying to do the case himself. ---
