And that is the thing, it doesn't have to be a thing. But it is a thing. Don't think the term incel means people who absolutely cannot have sex no matter how hard they try.

Then it's not involuntary, it's voluntary. That's literally how voluntary works. It's a thing you choose to do. And if they're misusing the word, then you really need a different term for them.
