I will agree that there's the argument that all of this has started only because Waluigi was confirmed as an AT while characters like King K. Rool and Decidueye still have a chance at being playable. But the fact that Bomberman was even close to Waluigi (even ahead) in terms of people wanting him playable is actually probably the biggest thing. Are you still referring to the same numbers you posted? Because you said that was before the Direct, so I'm not sure how Bomberman being an AT correlates.
