Two cops came up and told me I couldn't do that, and that if I didn't pour it out, they'd have to ticket me. I asked if I could just drink it really fast. They apologized, but said I had to pour it out. I complained that I had just opened it, but I did pour it out. That's how I found out that it's illegal to drink in the street. And the cops handled it exactly as they should have. They were polite even when I was still kind of a dick about it. She didn't need to find out there was a border by being arrested for 2 weeks after crossing back over it again.
