Square-Enix hired the Swedish company GRIN to develop a game called Fortress, a spinoff to Final Fantasy XII, many years ago. After a while, Square decided to cancel it and not paying GRIN the money they owed them, so they made up some BS excuses of why they wouldnt pay out any money. One was that they demanded GRIN to fax everything Fortress-related to them, including the music files. Another was to complain that the graphics, which they had praised up until then, didnt look enough Final Fantasy. After multiple changes, GRIN had enough and sent a screenshot from Final Fantasy XII. Square still said that it didnt look enough Final Fantasy.
