| Balrog0 06/22/18 12:22:54 PM #180: | It doesn't show that she wanted him back, it shows that she wanted to remain on friendly terms, which makes sense if you take her story seriously about him blacklisting her. It does sort of show that he didn't take the break up the way she claims he did, but without further context and the timeline those texts really are not very meaningful at all, it is kinda weird to me yall are so ready to accept them at face value actually. Do we know that is the exact date of their break up, for instance? What if this was after he had attempted to get her back and failed, during the time this woman she claims was ruining her life was ruining her life? I agree she is over conciliatory if that is the case, but that also fits into her description of herself and the relationship. I'm not white knighting or anything. I have no reason to believe she is telling the truth. But an isolated text string followed by another should not be so compelling to you imo --- It's one more thing we do to the poor, the deprived: cut out their tongues . . . allow them a language as lousy as their lives ...
