That's being manipulated. those two things aren't mutually exclusive... unless you're saying that she was literally incapable of consenting due to some cognitive deficiency this lady clearly had previously existing issues which caused her to seek out men like this, as she also admits in her essay. but you can think he's an awful person without thinking he is a literal rapist --- It's one more thing we do to the poor, the deprived: cut out their tongues . . . allow them a language as lousy as their lives ...
