You hand your credit/debit card to every cashier you encounter. That's something that has always blown my mind.

Any one of them could easily steal your money and get away with it.

Also, using Windows. Buying things using Windows. Especially anyone using an old version of Windows, like 7 or (Christ why) XP.

"Walmart in Georgia", I have a hunch someone took a picture of your card while using it and sold it to some guy in Georgia.

There are all kinds of inconspicuous hidden wearable cameras.

There are about a million ways someone can steal a credit card without actually touching it. Shit they have devices you can buy that steal credit card information just by walking by someone. The ways you are describing are about the most ancient ways to steal a credit card.
