| Topic | Missed a job over some dumb shit, now I'm pissed at myself(VentFAQs) |

Hair freshly cut, appropriate attire, etc. Time is tight and I HAVE to be there by 10:00, and I use public transportation. I'm making good time, but as I'm nearing the station I can't recall if I locked up or not. As you can imagine, that bugs the hell out of me. Can't stop thinking about how much I can potentially lose if I left my door unlocked and I'm gone for an hour or more. Also can't stop thinking about how good an opportunity this event is. In the end I went back, meaning I damn sure didn't have time to get to the event because I missed the bus. And the fun part is, the door WAS locked. So now I'm sitting at home filling out applications on Indeed and kicking myself in the nuts. tl;dr: Didn't go to a job fair I'd been prepping for because I was worried I didn't lock my door.
