Topic	I just had a really dark thought regarding the new Dune.

But it's not really a question of who ripped off who, as much as picking something superficially similar for comparison to help people who know nothing about the setting/franchise to latch on to. Dune and Star Wars are basically both set in space, with space ships and pseudo-magical powers.
