it's plain for all to see....she could have and should have walked away. she does that, and this story has a happy ending. just because you are in a relationship where someone cheats on you doesnt give you the right to enter bitch mode and ruin another person's life.

For one, it's likely high school/college or something around there, so drama is all people know.

For two, you're talking like a rational person. If she was serious about the relationship in any capacity, her knee-jerk reaction was probably intense bitterness, disgust, feeling used, and likely above all else--intense anger. Possibly sadness. Cheating... well, most people don't just go "Oh, well, that's fine. Let me just walk away so you can be happy."

Cheating is the kind of stuff where, a few years back where I live, someone rented a fucking backhoe and legit made aliek 10 foot deep trench around his cheating girlfriends house while she was out for a weekend. Cheating-based insanity is powerful.
