I doubt many are shocked about this.

Honestly, it was *always* going to be a bit of a longshot but it seemed like we were close to getting them to the table... but then things started to fall apart with the joint military exercises which prompted strong words from the Kim Regime.

North Korea did literally everything Trump wanted: blew up their test sights, started negotiating peace with South Korea, everything.

Then Trump has to stab them in the back because "they were mean" followed by a statement where he threatens them. What a piece of shit.

Uhhh, overlooking NK's threats following the joint military exercises, within the past week alone the state broadcasts had announced intentions to continue with their nuclear program. Even if you take all of the insults and threats off the table, it was starting to seem like NK didn't really have much intention of completely suspending the program. They would have been lying to at least one party.

Yes deserved hostility, because that dumbass John Bolton said we were gonna fuckin kill him. Do you not remember that?

You basically added more spin to John Oliver's (and others') spin. Oliver was noting that the Libya Model had unfortunate connotations given how things in Libya concluded, which incidentally occurred *long* after the actual disarmament. The disarmament was concluded in 2004. The revolution was 2011 and kinda unrelated to the WMD disarmament.
