If you pay with a card at a restaurant you can just hit a button to have it calculate the tip for you based on percent. Usually 15 20 and other. You don't have to do shit yourself

But fair warning that's on the post-tax amount


It's not like it's hard, but say your bill is 157.30 and you wanted to tip 20%. I'd just go with 30, rather than 31.46.
