Plus you have to be really stupid to think that having a ton more people would reduce the quality of life on the planet when there's literally no evidence of that being true nor does it match up with human history. Quality of life around the globe has been increasing as time passes and the world's population grows. Plus implying that were so close to making out our resources that if we have a larger population, there wouldn't be enough to maintain our lifestyle is patently absurd when you see how much food we throw away and how we pay Farmers to literally not grow food.

Overpopulation is 100% a myth, any credible source will tell you the same thing. I

Here are the top 15 most populated countries
1 China
2 India
3 United States
4 Indonesia
5 Pakistan
6 Brazil
7 Nigeria
8 Bangladesh
9 Russia
10 Japan
11 Mexico
12 Philippines
13 Egypt
14 Ethiopia
15 Vietnam

Great quality of life countries we got there.
In fact, in the top 20 only 3 are developed.

And the population rises because quality of life improved, not the other way around. That's just logic. If or when the exponential technology growth starts hitting a ceiling the average quality would definitely dip the more people there are.

3? I see 2. US and Japan. Who else?
