SubtletyRefuge posted... nicklebro posted...Plus you have to be really stupid to think that having a ton more people would reduce the quality of life on the planet when there's literally no evidence of that being true nor does it match up with human history. Quality of life around the globe has been increasing as time passes and the world's population grows. Plus implying that were so close to making out our resources that if we have a larger population, there wouldn't be enough to maintain our lifestyle is patently absurd when you see how much food we throw away and how we pay Farmers to literally not grow food. Exactly, so the population won't keep increasing if quality of life starts to decrease. So worrying about overpopulation is just plain ignorant. The population is decreasing right now while quality of life is increasing. Who's to say it won't switch? Lol but if you're seriously going to argue that a countries population is the only thing that determines quality of life then idk if I have the patience to go over all the reasons that's wrong. Plus you're literally just looking at overall population and not how it's relative to landmass or anything else. In fact looking at your list of countries and one thing becomes clear, there's literally no pattern or rhyme nor reason to them at all, so it basically proves that population size and quality of life are unrelated. I mean China has probably the fastest growing economy in the world and theyve been pulling millions of their citizens out of poverty as their population grows. No one said that. Man, what is with you and moronic hyperbole. Is that all your mind can comprehend? Is China really your best example of quality of life? Plus, their birth rates aren't rising either. They literally had a ban on having more than 1 children which they recently upped to two which they need government permission for. nicklebro posted... Just saw this.... You only count 3 developed countries on that list? I'd love to hear which three they are so I can laugh at you United States, Japan, and Germany (which isn't on that list, it's #16). List the other ones so I can laugh at you. --- Real subtle ... Copied to Clipboard! |
