Topic	Do certain medications really make you gain too much weight?

The former is not really fully understood, but they absolutely brick your metabolism. I was on Cipralex for a short time (about six months) and I gained 20-30 pounds despite zero change in my diet or exercise habits. Went off and the weight came off too.
