While the ad might suggest 'the ideal candidate will already have 10+ years doing this exact job and be willing to accept half of what they were paid at their previous job', if you know someone who already works at a place you get hired that day, almost on a whim. You might sit down and shoot the breeze for twenty minutes just so there's an 'interview' period on the books, but that's it.

yeah i agree geez most job posting ads read like christmas wish lists, i've heard this and it's true.
