I think the more popular version was done a couple years after this one by Glen Campbell but I don't have a strong preference either way. Glens version of the song appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and regained some popularity for the tune. It's ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to hear it.
