Anyway, Japan already looks down on the actual Japanese otakus (the games/anime enthusiasts). Other types of asians get a little flack if found out. A white otaku is considered below that. A non-white/asian otaku another tier down. A black otaku... hoo boy.

It's a very racist country. And they're not forced to move past that since they're an island with strict immigration law that's 99% one nationality.

and like, seriously, the only people who constantly blow up how super "racist" japan supposedly is are almost always either:

- people who've never actually been there

or

- disgruntled white people who were born and raised in the west and find themselves in complete culture shock once they experience what being a minority is like for the first time in their lives upon moving there
