Genny: To be honest I'm not sure if Big Hero 6 just came out at a time when I was burnt out on Disney movies or if I feel it's overrated, but either way it didn't live up to its potential here. Baymax is truly an adorable character and Hiro despite his flaws or perhaps because of them is a compelling protagonist, but their dynamic strikes me as a retread of Hiccup and Toothless from the first movie sans the initial feelings of fear and resentment. The supporting cast while unique and likeable enough don't really inspire much passion. Like, after it first came out I was saddened that only Gogo made the cut for the following SMDC, but come the next contest my desire to get Wasabi and Honey Lemon in were gone. I feel the same way about Kabuki, the main antagonist. It's not that they're nothing characters, it's just that there's not enough substance there. At the end of the day it feels like every other character is there to develop and elevate Hiro, who ultimately isn't a good enough character to carry the movie past the first act. Much like the film itself, he is good but not great.

Snake: Its a lot of fun but nothing incredibly spectacular. It feels like an animated MCU film, albeit a weaker entry. The villain
certainly fits the MCU mold. Baymax is definitely the best part of the film and easily has the funniest moments.

JONA: While Baymax is very enjoyable and all the other characters are likable enough, the movie is just an ok origin story. Hoping the TV series gets to fleshing out the characters a bit more.
