TopicInfinity War review from a non MCU fan or whatever (spoliers) and a few issues

By calling myself a non fan, I mean I'm not into the movies and only watched a few of them.

I was invited and told my friends I'd go if they couldn't find someone else and that I'm not really a fan of the movies.

With that said, I've only seen the following MCU movies (in no particular order): Iron Man 1, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers 1, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and I think that's about it. I have no interest in other MCU movies besides Guardians of the Galaxy.

Anyways, lets get started (in no particular order either).

Even though I didn't have any expectations and wasn't interested in seeing it, I really enjoyed the movie. It was fun.

I really wanted to see more of the Hulk, especially against Thanos. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Maybe an explanation is made in Thor Ragnarok as to why Bruce Banner can't transform into Hulk. But it didn't matter. I thought the big pay off at the end was Hulk, but nope.

The Guardians of the Galaxy had the best scenes. I really have to watch their movies. (I watched a bit of Vol. 2 on Netflix and the little of it I watched was fun as hell).

Thor was pretty cool in this. I never liked Thor for some reason, but he was likeable here.

No Ant Man. Why? :/

Spider-Man is still fucking annoying as fuck. That Iron Spider-Man suit was bullshit. I don't like how some of the technology in these movies are basically magic. Look at Iron Man and War Machine's suits, they literally have weapons on top of weapons and millions of missiles. Where the hell does all of that fit? And not a fan of Spider-Man's abilities coming from technology. The spider-legs were cool though.

Glad Captain America's screentime wasn't long. He sucks.

Thanos was okay. He could've slaughtered some heroes early on so they wouldn't screw up his plans, but nope. But we're getting to the "this is just a movie" territory and I understand why some things didn't happen.

Some events could've been avoided like Star Lord's dumb rage with Thanos that caused him to keep the gauntlet, not using the time stone, and not destroying stones earlier. But again, it's "just a movie" and if some events in the movie were heavily altered, they wouldn't be a movie. Still not a valid excuse though.

I didn't care about the war at the end. It's just heroes fighting a bunch of fodder. No threat at all. Would've been better if they had a few cool looking henchmen bosses fighting the heroes instead. Thanos' henchmen looked like they came out of World of Warcraft.

Question: Has Betty reappeared in any of the MCU movies? It's weird that she isn't in them as she is Bruce's love interest. It looks like he's moved on to Black Widow. She probably wouldn't add much to the story though.

But yeah, I know I mostly posted some negatives, but those were just a few things I had some issues with. Like I said, the movie was fun overall and this is the perspective from someone that doesn't care about these movies and hasn't watched them all. This is way better than Age of Ultron, which I didn't like much.

Edit: I forgot to mention, heroes dying in this movie had no impact at me at all. We all know they'll just bring them back. None of the characters that died looked permanent anyways. With a world with magic, they can just rewind time or bring them back by snapping their fingers. I would have preferred seeing Thanos killing some heroes directly.
