At what point does someone become "trans" instead of just being a guy who has a feminine side, or likes things traditionally liked by girls? Sexual preference is totally different, so that is put aside. I believe transgendered was usually used for those who felt they were in the wrong body, and liked to dress up as the opposite (or correct for them) sex. But what if you just get along better with girls, enjoy their company more, and enjoy things that are usually attractive to girls not guys? I mean there are tons of girls like that, often called Tomboys etc, and they are not considered trans (unless they dress as a guy etc). So a guy that actually likes girl stuff, how should he be defined? Personally I think you should not define anyone and just let everyone define themselves however they want, if at all. Me? I don't feel the need to define myself, but more power to anyone who does. I like guys and girls equally. I don't have any desire to sleep with guys, but as I have gotten older, the desire to sleep with girls has drastically decreased as well, to the point of it not being much different anymore. I think I identify as a guy mostly, but am not concerned by what is manly, or not, I do what I like based on my personality. I was a nanny for instance, not a very manly occupation! Not only didn't it bug me, I was proud of it (not many guys do that job). As far as his wife, if she is happy with their relationship, I doubt it will matter at all to her. He is who is is, and who he has been, and if she loves that person, how he identifies himself won't make a difference at all. --- "did you steal my f***in signature" Helly ... Copied to Clipboard! |
