Looking at the number of votes is not really a fair comparison because the polls have seen a major decline in the total number of votes they are receiving. Here's a poll that you can check to see a major decline in vote totals over the past 9 years: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/poll/3864- If you check out the later polls (from 2011 and later), you can see the polls getting less and less votes every time it's been re-run. You should look at this poll in terms of percentage, not the actual number of votes. As of right now, the current percentage of 91.58% for the option "No, and I've never owned any" is not the highest percentage ever recorded for one option.
