Next time, get a fresh salmon fillet.

Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Bake on a pan/cookie sheet (I'd suggest putting foil down), scales side down
If it's around an inch thick, cook for 15 min. If it's closer to 2 inches or thicker, you'll need more time, but risk overcooking portions of it. I'd suggest avoiding a very thick fillet, or if there'll be left overs, eat the less thick portions first, and re heat (in the oven) the rest next time.

That's all you have to do. I bake it and have it on my salad, no seasoning needed.
Or you can put a sauce/marinade on it before baking if you want.
