Do you think it's smart of me to move to another state in hopes of finding a job after graduation? Or would it be smarter to stay in my home state, work at a company related to my desired career, and then apply to companies out-of-state while working here? It's not a smart idea to move to another state without any leads on the jobs I want to find there, right? But I've stayed in this state for like twenty-four years, and I really, really want to get the hell out of here. On the other hand, I might fail and end up having to come back.

You should probably look at a job as a condition for moving. Can't see any landlord will renting to an out-of-state young man with no job lined up.
