By the way, I own a WW2 era Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle that is considered an assault weapon and banned in some states due to it being equipped with a bayonet stock. It's not considered an assault weapon anywhere because it's a bolt action rifle. Every US assault weapons ban also bans the Mosin Nagant because it's 'capable' of accepting a myriad of cosmetic features, such as the aforementioned bayonet lug.
