Topic	I'm rewatching the first FMA anime. spoilers

It felt like the characters travelled to all these distant lands in like a day and then went back again for lunch sometimes. Something about the pacing was off putting in that sense. Great animes otherwise. Amestris isn't that huge of a country. they're not going to "distant lands" (except for ~~Ed and Al at the end of Brotherhood~~) It does feel like Xing is some distance away. So even if the setting is that large, it does feel like Amestris is really isolated (and vulnerable). --- Whatever happened to standards?
