I never understood why people are so fascinated with film revenues.
I normally don't care but I don';t want Marvel to obsess over Black Panther cause of this movie's ticket sales. I am worried that Black Panther is going to become the main character of the MCU and get over exposed in the comics. he's not a bad guy, but he doesn't need to be Marvel's Batman. I don't want everything to turn into a Black Panther story.
Isn't this basically what they've done with Iron Man? I'm not really familiar with the comics but by my understanding IM wasn't a major character until the movies and comic civil war. With RDJ likely moving on soon and Evans not wanting to stick around much longer either BP seems as good a choice as any to lead in phase 4.
