He didn't fall to it, but he still was tempted and that can't be ignored. When he was dying on the cross, he said "father, why have you forsaken me". It's all part of God's plan. Jesus calls us sinners to repent and go to him, if Jesus was like God Almighty we would be destroyed in his presence because God does not look upon sin.
