Topic | What PSU and HDD should I switch to? |
Dikitain 03/06/18 10:31:25 PM #2: | For HDD, either Western Digital or Seagate. Never had a problem with either of them. In fact I have a 10 year old Seagate hard drive that I still use today (granted, I have it backed up because I fully expect it to fail any time now). I can't really talk much about PSU, because I WAAAAY overspent on my first one, and it has powered 2 computers as a result. Like it is literally the last surviving component of the first computer I built once I could afford to build my own computers. I don't even know if they still make this brand but I have a Xclio 1200W (I think Gold). DO NOT GET ANYTHING THAT POWERFUL UNLESS YOU ARE RUNNING A FUCKING GOD MACHINE!!! Most builds only need about half that much power. --- I am a senior software engineer. If you see me post here, I am tired of writing TPS reports. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
