Hint: I think both these things are relevant to modern discourse.

We still talk about Japan denying war time atrocities from the same time period [as the Israel thing] so why shouldn't we talk about this?


1. Nobody is denying these things happened, so your Japanese reference is irrelevant
2. There hasn't been a causal link established between this group 70 years ago and the modern treatment of peoples which would put it in the same category as segregation
3. There are a lot of terrorist groups that have existed over time, so if we're going to consider one from 70 years ago relevant to modern Israel, we're going to need to also include all the terrorist organizations that have existed in the past 70 years from all the surrounding countries.
