Superman gets his power from the sun, so he takes a journey through the cosmos bathing in and fully absorbing star after star until his power is magnified beyond the scope of all human knowledge. The All Star imprints are not canon. In DC One Million, Superman has been living in the center of the sun for over fifteen thousand years.
