To me 'flaming out' is when a player crashes and burns so hard right out of the gate, you can't help but almost feel sorry for how bad they performed. Like the first time you had sex, these 5 players flamed-out so hard the smoke trail of humiliation could be seen for miles. It's bad, but it was also so good we'll never forget it. I think an underlying quality is how these players all did this to themselves, in spectacular fashion, all for the worse. They overplay their hand and do almost nothing but dig themselves deeper until their torch is smuffed. Jacob inspired this idea. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
