But yeah, if you're just dicking around Velen for "In Ciri's Footsteps" quest stuff, you've quite a ways to go. Remember, main quests (and contracts) give you most of the XP you'll need, not killing random mooks. If you power level too high, quests outside the recommended range -- I think it's 5+ levels above it -- start giving decreased Xp gains.

But anyway, exploration's one of the most fun parts, but it's easy to get overwhelmed when you're just running around strange new places.

Yeah, I'm thinking I need to just focus on the main quest and beat it. I have a bad habit of doing too much side stuff in games and getting burnt out.
