Topic	Just finished Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen tonight. Need a new game. Suggestions?
Aristoph 02/24/18 1:14:02 AM #1:	80/80 DD:DA was a fantastic game. It has its flaws for sure, but damn if it's not a ton of fun once you've figured out the quirks. The combat is pretty spectacular. And Bitterblack Isle was so satisfying to work through, with the eerie Dark Souls-inspired vibe and some really brutal enemies. Enemy design was also really amazing. Everything really looked epic, with the dragons and chimera and probably my favorite representation of death in any video game. I mean seriously, just look at this mother fucker and tell me you wouldn't shit yourself the first time you see him pop up in the middle of a battle in a pitch-black sewer tunnel: If you haven't played it, I highly recommend it. But now I need something new. I'm kind of in the mood for another hefty time-sink (Steam says I have 177 hours of playtime in Dragon's Dogma...), and an action-RPG would be great. I'm somewhat tempted to check out Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne, but I played DS2:SotFS and never really got into it. I made it pretty far because I kept believing that it was going to "click" eventually, but after about 30 hours it just didn't happen. I love the style, though, and after enjoying Bitterblack Isle so much I'm kind of in the mood for more of that dark crumbling ancient stonework kind of environment that Dark Souls does so well. I'm also open to something more lighthearted or completely different, of course.
