Topic	what was it about black panther that got everyone out to see it?

Jen0125 posted... i mean there's nothing negative about saying more black people went to see this movie because it had a majority black cast, took place in Africa and portrays black people in a positive light. Apart from saying black people are racially motivated, which isn't a great trait for anybody. everyone likes seeing people like themselves represented in a major motion picture. seeing a movie purely because you want to see your race represented isn't a negative trait lmao it's a non-issue. That is an interesting thing to say; I wonder if it is true. I oftentimes forget what color I am until someone forces me to remember. How sad it is to think that people walk around constantly thinking about race; I've done pretty well in life though and I live somewhere that race isn't a day-to-day care though, so I guess my opinion isn't valid. If you don't, do you feel disaffected or neglected when watching these heroic movies? Why are animations so popular? Is it because viewers themselves are also animated creations?
