Yeah but it's only chocolate, some people won't think of it as stealing unless it is pointed out to them. You know what I mean.

No I don't know what you mean. There's no way these people are taking items from peoples' desks while those people aren't there and don't know it's wrong. It's not as though they are taking food from a common area.


And you think they should be fired for taking chocolate from a desk?

I think people who use their job as a means to steal should be fired from that job, yes. And if the problem persists then the contract with that company should be cancelled.


Well I disagree, I think that the punishment should be proportional to the crime. I think firing somebody in this case is overkill.
