Topic	Is there anything more disappointing than the modern story in Assassin's Creed?
AvantgardeAClue 02/13/18 1:32:23 AM #1:	You had loads of promise in the Ezio trilogy, I remember being uber hyped to see how it's handled, then then AC3 fucks it all up by turning it into a 2012 doomsday scenario and ~~killing off Desmond~~ AC4 was a nice little breather, but Unity completely ignored the story and Syndicate was just some random Assassin hijinks. Origins ~~finally realized we needed a new modern-day protagonist~~ but I'm not sure if that has any staying power past that game At least they're out of obvious ideas for historical set pieces for now --- Sometimes I say things and I'm not voice acting. <cite>AvantgardeAClue posted [p:895985413] in Is there a...
