| acesxhigh 02/07/18 11:26:55 PM #20: | My parents got me Simple Plan's "Still Not Getting Any..." and a portable CD player for Christmas in 2004. I remember listening to the first song "Shut Up" super loud through my headphones and I felt like such an edgy little punk. and "Welcome To My Life" made me feel like I wasn't alone. I'm pretty sure I broke that CD in half at some point during puberty when I thought I was too cool for pop-punk and Simple Plan. Wasn't until I left high school that I realized how much those songs meant to me. That got a little sappy but I still feel like it's "Me Against The World" sometimes, you know?
