If Im invited to dinner and told my host how shit his cooking is, thats disrespectful right? Similarly, if youre gonna kneel for the anthem because you want to say how shitty America is, then its disrespectful. It doesnt matter if what youre saying is true, its not customary or polite, therefore its disrespectful. Make sense?

Ok but do you also think changing the colors of the flag to suit an agenda is also disrespectful?

Depends. If I bring over dessert because I want to show appreciation to my host for inviting me, then its considered a nice thing to do. If people want to change colors of the flag because they want to show how they appreciate it in their own unique way, its not coming from a negative place, therefore not disrespectful. If people wanted to change the color of the flag because they want to symbolize how shitty America is, thats a different story. Much like if I brought dessert because I wanted to upstage my host showing who makes better dessert in front of the guests, that would be disrespectful to my host.

The mental Gymnastic coming from this post is just out there.
