I was expecting that everyone who still owns their rose-tinted glasses would try to refute it but ultimately be unable to do so. I was right. There are plenty of essential shmups, run and guns, racing and fighting games on it that haven't been mentioned, though. Puzzle games are harder to qualify, but it has good puzzle games, too. Ftr sotn is not a metroid clone anymore than mgs is a snatcher clone. There's much more going on in comparison.
