Beat a game with horror as a central theme Doki Doki Literature Club The only things I knew about this game going into it was that it was a visual novel (which I don't enjoy), that it got really messed up about a third of the way through, and "Just Monika", so I'd say I went in pretty blind. Despite the genre I ended up really enjoying it. Maybe because it wasn't that long, and also because it plays with the themes of the genre a little bit.
