I know that outside of the U.S., attitudes about guns are vastly different. When Sandy Hook happened, I was staying at a hostel in Paris and was told by an Australian about what happened. I remember exactly where I was standing, who told me, etc. One of the Australians I spoke to told me that where they're from, no one cares about guns. I also met a French woman who basically shared the same sentiments.

On the other hand, in America, things are vastly different. I think that people in America are afraid to say that they support an outright ban on firearms. And I think that what people need to remember is that the same people who value the 2nd amendment so much also know how important the 1st amendment is as well. You are free to speak your mind, and they can't hurt you.

I support an all-out ban on firearms, and I don't care what the Constitution says about your militia.
