Now, part of the reason that you end up with situations where Quarterback X has better stats than Quarterback Y but a lower QBR is because it doesn't reward (or punish) you for garbage time play. In most games, even when they are winning by plenty, the Patriots don't really go to the "slam them with the run over and over" strategy, which means Tom Brady still gets plenty of yards/TDs/etc. in garbage time. --- ...
