I would need more context than that... oh, right, the savage girl. That's an absurdly extreme outlier where the child had mental issues in the first place and was then placed in total isolation. Sahuagin posted... you can't really fix things that happen during formative years. it defines you. you can learn to cope with it and work around it, but your brain is hardwired with the deficiency. Not really true, excluding something like malnutrition which can permanently stunt growth and impair brain function (which, by the way, was part of the problem with Genie) Sahuagin posted... additionally, I'm the oldest of three. I actually have it the best, since I was isolated at a later age. my siblings are much worse off, proportionate to their age and how young they were when it started. Worse how?
