Topic	Unlike Black Panther, Ant-Man and the Wasp looks fantastic

Your thoughts on BP feel like bait but I feel like he's just not that compelling of a superhero to have his own movie at the moment, although he was great in Civil War. Antman is fun and compelling... because he had his own movie. I saw Antman in Civil War before his own movie and my opinion was still fairly positive. Black Panther seems to be a serious business movie in comparison, not that a serious tone is a bad thing but it certainly means that people are going to be looking for qualities in it that just aren't gonna be there I mean, The Winter Soldier is a "serious business" movie too and lots of people agree that it's one of the best films in the MCU. IIRC, there was an interview with one of the producers on Black Panther and they said they were going for the same tone as TWS. Winter Soldier is my favorite MCU movie and yep, fairly serious. That being said, it also had a bit of a thriller/spy vibe going for it that definitely helped it out. Black Panther I'm gonna need more info about the story before I can judge it completely, but I swear to fuck if there's some thinly veiled social commentary in it that has no relevance to the story --- Sometimes I say things and I'm not voice acting. <cite>AvantgardeAClue posted [p:895120919] in Unlike Bla...
